Arca Continental

As one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers worldwide, Arca Continental partnered with Artist Uprising in 2022 for a large-scale project to revitalize their distribution centers, warehouses, and office spaces across the southwestern United States. I contributed to this project with the Artist Uprising team until July 2024.

Project Overview

This project focused on bringing color and life to the Arca Continental employee experience by incorporating murals, custom-branded full-wall vinyl, framed art, and new wayfinding systems. Recruiting local artists specific to each location was a major focus. I played a key role in the design and management of this initiative. Collaborating closely with account managers and my fellow design team, I helped deliver creative solutions aligned with Arca Continental’s brand, ensuring cohesive and vibrant designs across multiple locations.

Facilitated ongoing inter-team and artist collaboration through structured weekly meetings and rapid communication via Slack, streamlining decision-making processes.

Delivered comprehensive presentations with mockups and visual aids to align client expectations and approvals.

Secured a trusted print partner to produce and install over 50 unique vinyl, paper, and signage elements across all sites.

Transforming Spaces, Elevating Experiences

We transformed these industrial spaces with vibrant murals created by local artists, injecting color and energy into otherwise utilitarian environments. Custom-designed wall and glass graphics, paired with bold wayfinding systems, improved navigation and functionality. The result was a harmonious blend of uniformity and site-specific customization, reinforcing the brand’s presence while allowing each location’s character to shine.

Strategy and Collaboration

Working on the Arca Continental project with Artist Uprising taught me the importance of presenting clear and compelling conceptual designs. Using mockups, mood boards, and detailed visual guides was key to achieving this. Additionally, strong communication, clear boundaries, and proactive expectation management were crucial for navigating multiple stakeholders and a lengthy timeline.
