Project Overview

I managed and designed Artist Uprising's complete internal marketing ecosystem throughout my tenure, overseeing everything except the website. This ongoing responsibility included creating the Little Blue Book marketing booklet, advertising posters, digital marketing graphics, comprehensive brand guidelines documentation, and client presentation templates - all while coordinating with different departments and balancing timelines across multiple concurrent projects.

The Challenges

Managing diverse feedback from multiple team leaders while implementing newly refined branding across all marketing touchpoints.

Creating comprehensive brand guidelines that would ensure consistent implementation across all teams and projects.

Coordinating multiple ongoing marketing projects with varying timelines and budget requirements.

Ensuring brand cohesion across diverse marketing materials while maintaining project momentum.

The Solutions

Established weekly feedback cycles with the Creative Director and Co-founder, evaluating and synthesizing input to select the most effective solutions while presenting clear rationale for design decisions.

Independently managed the complete brand book project from content organization to copywriting to final PDF design, creating an accessible reference tool that linked all new digital files for easy team implementation.

Assisted the art director in managing project timelines and budget needs while stepping into full art director responsibilities when needed, including overseeing junior graphic designers.

Developed efficient design processes and template systems that maintained brand consistency while allowing for quick turnaround on new marketing needs.

Streamlining Design Through Documentation

The comprehensive brand guidelines document I created became the central reference point for all team members, ensuring consistent brand implementation across every project. This systematic approach to brand management helped streamline the design process and reduced revision cycles, allowing the team to work more efficiently while maintaining high creative standards.

Driving Business Growth Through Cohesive Marketing

The coordinated marketing efforts resulted in more clearly communicated services and significantly improved client meeting presentations. The cohesive brand presence across all touchpoints helped Artist Uprising attract larger corporate clients, with the Little Blue Book marketing booklet serving as a particularly effective business development tool. The systematic approach to internal brand management created a foundation that supported the agency's growth and enhanced their professional positioning in the market.
